Guest guest
Debbie: That seems like an excellent suggestion. Thanks! I have forwarded your e-mail to her computer as others are very much smarter than mothers, if you know what I mean. And, yes, the legs! Barbie hasn't got a thing on Meaghan let me tell you. Summertime is her season, a wow in shorts and the thing that gets me is she hardly ever notices all the second looks and jaw drops. Blows me away! Guys can't take their eyes off the legs. Bernie lax ankles, bunions and shoes that do not fit Bernie >>>Purchasing shoes upsets her totally as she can never wear slip on >>>shoes, one is always way too loose and won't stay on. <<< I know exactly what you are talking about. Try her with open toed and striped back shoes. This did wonders to my self esteem when I was a teen and works today too. The bunion will fit better in the open to and the sling back (with a strap that can be chinced up even if you have to poke more holes in the strap) will hold like glue. You might have to get her two shoe sizes for a special occasion but I think the open toe strap heal will look just lovely. I have these sort of calves that you are talking about and have gotten many a whistle in my day for it. Tell her to hang in there! Soon, very soon those beautiful legs will be a terrific asset to her! I too have bunions and tiny lax ankles and this is my magic solution. These are quite popular right now with low, med and high heals. Pick some up for her to wear into her 30's the style never goes out! If you want more information I can lead you to some links so you can see what I mean Debbi AKA: jetskideb SoCal EDS'er
Guest guest
Another thing. platform shoes with open toes and ankle straps are good too. I have Barbie legs too. I fing 0platforms give me more stability and better balance than a heel. She can't wear wide makes. Are Oplatforms carried in specialty stores, or department stores. Wat adds to the problemis she needs size 10 or 11. So very many only go to size 10. We are in southern Ont. Canada. Guest guest
Hi Autumn: Sorry, I do know what platform style shoes look like. In a previous post some one had mentioned SAS shoes ( a brand) and I must have just assumed you were also referring to a brand.....or been at the computer too long and not processing any more. Does that happen to other people too? Yes, my daughter does find thick soled and platform type shoes give support, especially now when clunky shoes are in style for teens. However with being 5'10.5 " , yes you read that right, 5 feet 10.5 inches and skin and bones, they can very much make her look like Olive Oil from Pop Eye.
