Guest guest
Marla, I had an epidural with my second child, and everything was fine UNTIL they began to stitch up the peritoneum, and I felt every stitch! They tried to give me extra stuff through the IV and even through a mask, but it didn't help. I asked about it afterwards, and they said I had a " midline defect " , which they told me was a bubble of air where the anesthetic didn't take. I didn't know I had EDS at that time, but MY feeling is that it was related to the EDS and locals not working well with us. Hope this helps! Good luck, Sweetie, I'll be thinking of you and praying for you and the babe! Love Lana This time I plan to have an epidural. Guest guest
Yes, I remember you. Didn't I look big enough to be due??? At least I feel like I did! Thanks for the well wishes. And good luck with getting into the study! It would be nice to get into it, but for me, that's too far for me to go with a new baby. Guest guest
*smile* I lose track of time quickly. For a while I thought you already had the baby, then I thought you must have another couple of months before you were due... Sometimes I can barely keep track of the day of the week! So, now you've got less than a week to go, right? I bet this heat is just unberable for you! I haven't heard anything about the study, but I know they are swamped with emails plus it is the weekend. I'll be sure to let everyone know whenever I hear anything. I can't imagine why you think it is too far to go with a new baby! I mean, it's only like a 6 hour flight (if you go direct), and it isn't like germs fly all over planes, and you won't be too tired as a new mom or anything like that... Ha! > Yes, I remember you.
