Guest guest
Best of luck Carol My Turn to Surf Hi Everyone, I am off to Columbia for my turn at surfing. Plan is to get a right hip resurfacing on Wednesday July 21, 2004 by Dr. Gross. Just wanted to thank all of you for the insight, wisdom, and strength you have shown on this site. I am looking forward to a new life without pain or restriction. Thanks a million. Wish me luck and keep me in your prayers. I will try to post daily if possible while I am in the hospital, otherwise I will be sure to post when I get back home. Guest guest
Dr. Mark, You are in great hands and you will be well cared for. Dr. Gross and his staff are wonderful (I'm sure you've read that here before). Do the exercises (conscientiously) in the hospital and during your recovery. I think that what I did in the hospital really helped me with my recovery. You won't believe how good it feels after surgery. Please convey my best to Lee Webb and Dr. Gross. Guest guest
Dear Mark, I certainly do wish you well & will keep you in my prayers. I know that when you are done, you'll be able to " kick some butt " with that new right hip! I'll be watching closesly for your messages. I hear that we surfers are supposed to be the most annoying (demanding, inquisitive to a fault, controlling, yadda, yadda, pre-op patients, but we are also the best post-op patients! This is because we realllly want this to work, so we listen to & follow all the surgeon & PTs advice. This combined with our " youth " and sincere motivation to get back to a normal, make us impress everyone with our quick recovery! My surgery is coming up really soon, 3 weeks from tomorrow. There is a lot to do to get ready (including having a family beach vacation in N.C.). Have a safe journey! Marie > Hi Everyone, > I am off to Columbia for my turn at surfing.
