Hi all,

I have a problem. I lost weight, I think. I seemed to lose maybe muscle?

Since Bill died I did eat less and was on meals on wheels with a healthy diet.

So

I dropped abut twenty pounds. Then with the TIA July and over thirty days in a

hospital bed, I lost bulk. I weighted 177 lb on August 8th. Last week at my

doctor, he still thought I lost a LOT of weight. I do look totally different.

But I weighted in on August 19th at 187 lbs. So, what has happened to my

collagen. My body is < > soft.

Today, I am thin or skinner but super soft. All my flesh has dropped. I am

told I look better and I look like I lost tons of weight. But I am now almost

back to my old weight. There is a difference. Instead of a nice firm size 16 or

even 18 I now fit in a 14. Nice, I never expected to get my flat stomach back.

But my butt flattened out too :-(.

I seemed to have changed from a body that stretched like rubber and that

snapped back to a young looking shape to now I look my age. Flat boobs. Even my

buns are gone, flattened out I guess. I used to get this way sometimes, now I

have stayed this way. My bloat is gone. Flushing out my GI most likely did

that...

With my one of a kind body I know I cannot ask anyone what truly happened. So

here are some questions:

Can an EDSer change from rubbery stretchy skin to the soft hanging type?

Perhaps the flaccid muscles is from been in bed so long not to mention the

TIA. For the last five years I been mostly bedridden. But my body looked great.

This year combination left we with no muscle definition. How do I get it back?

I do remember that I was soooo skinny as a teen.

Could it be my Medications??

I am on nitroglycerine patch for over 12 hours a day. Could this and my BP

meds like beta blocker affect my skin?

Finally the biggest problem is being softer that usual.

Caro
