Guest guest
HI everyone here is my latest info about my painful R BHR.... I saw an OS here in Vancouver who does not operate anymore but is very knowledgeable about hip surgeries and was willing to spend time with me! (yes what a relief a surgeon who listens to me!). (for people in Vancouver his name is Dr Mc Graw). His evaluation is that there is possibly AVN but we have to wait 3 months to see how it evolves. He does not " believe " much in the hypothesis of the ligaments rubbing against the prosthesis! what to do? I just have to wait and see if it gets worse or gets better! the reason he thinks about AVN is because I was experiencing some improvements and then it started to get worse and has not improved again. What helps me in all that is to have him following up my situation. It was very scary to only have email exchanges with De Smet and he cannot see my hip and what is really going on. So my morale is not as bad as it was,it fluctuates a lot but there are moments were I can breathe and relax! Sunita
