I can't remember Lacy, but I do remember her mom, The questions she asked the Docs in NY, and the fear in her voice. Non of the Doc's there had an answer as to whether EDS could be involved in the seizures she has been having. I know many CEDA folks had talked to both of them. I will update as I find out anything. HUGGLES, Grace EDS, It's a Life Thing http://www.ehlersdanlos.ca/whateds.htm Update on Lacy This is from the EDNF board: I just talked to Lacy's mom and Lacy is still in ICU at Bayview. She is awake for the first time this evening, lacy is still on a ventilator but they are hoping to take it off tomorrow, she is breathing on her own now, when the docs have been trying to take it off she starts to have seizures again. lacy had a spinal tap today and is awaiting results. Tomorrow she is to have a MRI and hopefully find out what part of the brain is causing the seizures. Lacy's first plane was cancelled on Sunday and when boarding the second plane is when she started to get sick and was airlifted to Hopkins.(a blessing in disguise). Everyone please be praying for Lacy and her family and the docs will find the cause of these seizures. I will keep in touch with the family and update when I know anything further.
