Hi, MK,

Look at Dr. Gross's website, grossortho.com. You'll find contact info

and a great deal of info on resurfacing and MonM hips, etc. I think

I'm the most recent of Dr. G's patients on the site, having had my

left hip done May 26. I think you'll find many happy customers; Dr.

Gross is one of the most experienced resurf docs, and he and his

nurse/assistant, Lee Webb, are incredible at answering questions and

concerns. Sometimes when I email a question, I feel like the answer

is already on its way before pressing " send. " Good luck with your

decision and let us all know how we can help.

,

Thank you for Dr. Gross's excellent web site. Everybody should look at this

one. I especially enjoyed the graphic explanation of hip resurfacing. There is

a lot more there for me to learn from.

I am a recent patient of Dr. Gross'. Although we decided that a

large femoral head, MoM, THR was the best approach for my particular

problem instead of the resurf which I originally investigated, I can

certainly give testimony of his wonderful expertise and bedside

manner. When you see him, you will feel like you are his only

patient. He is in no rush and makes sure you have all the info you

need and want and more. Can't say enough about his " right hand

gal " , Lee Webb, as well. She is soooo efficient and will go out of

her way to see that your needs are met. Having had 2 previous hip

surgeries on the L side by other doctors, I can comparitively say

that this entire pre thru post-op experience was the easiest and

most comfortable - even better than I had hoped for. They have the

most wonderful pain management protocol as well, and this does

differ from doctor to doctor. I think this team is top shelf, as

well as the procedures and choice of parts that they use. Best

wishes with your research.

MK, you go to Columbia, SC and see him and his stuff and you will receive

the best possible treatment for your hips + a dose of Southern hospitality

as well.

They " saved my life " about 13 months ago (twice).

take care,

Miren
