A Dexa Scan is a simple diagnostic test that measures the density of your

bones. It is used to diagnose osteoporosis and osteopenia. The test

involves laying still on a table while a machine moves up your body to scan

the bone. It is painless and quick. I was in and out in under 1 hour when

I had mine done a couple of months ago.
