I cant travel to Buffalo... just not well enough. 1/2 room @$99.00 for lease!

Everyone~~

It is with a very sad heart that I made a “final hour” decision not to

travel to Buffalo.

There are a million reasons to go regardless of how I feel but the nausea,

vomiting, pain and fatigue unfortunately outweigh all of them. When I spoke

to my physician today he advised against the travel as it is just bound to

aggravate the bleeding ulcer more than it is but I poo, pooed it off at the

time. I have looked forward to this for so long not to go because of a

little ulcer!

As the evening wore on and I finished packing it finally hit me that I was

being just plain silly about this. If I can’t even pack without having to

rest to relive the nausea how can I possibly fly for 5 hours? I have never

been concerned if there would be help for me when I get there… It is the

getting there that I don’t think I could handle. Nausea and vomiting on a

plane and in an airport have never been highlights.

It is almost too much sadness for me even to type this but I had to make

this decision on my total health.

If anyone sees this that is already checked in to the hotel, could you pass

this on to . I have sent an email to Sue and left a message in ’s

room about me not coming but did not want to wake her at this hour. I will

be calling in the morning but any information getting to her as soon as

possible would be appreciated.

I am obligated to split the cost of the room with regardless if I am

there or not, but perhaps there is someone out there that has a $135.00 room

that would like my ½ with for the $99.00 rate? If so, that would be

great… If not… well that is just the cost of being sick I guess!

Oh Deb, I'm SO SORRY! I feel so badly for you!!! I will be leaving

Omaha at 1:00 and arrive in Buffalo around 6:00. Probably you will

have spoken to by then, but I'll sure pass along how badly you

feel! Shoot - I know how bad you were looking forward to this. I

will notify you as soon as I get back, OK?

Debbi, I'm so sorry. This is so disappointing. But I guess if your sick you'd be

stuck in your room allot anyway. And getting sick on the plane would be awful.

Darn girl, wish you felt better. Maybe next year. I'll miss meeting you.

I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling so badly. I hope your doctor can

help you with this ulcer - what an awful thing to have to deal with. I think,

at least for me, nausea and vomiting are two of the worse things to have - it

just makes you feel miserable all over.

I'm so sorry you could not make it to the convention. I feel for

you. I do so hope your stomach ulcer heals soon I agree pooh! I can't go

Actually yesterday I felt much better than today.

Mornings are especially bad. I tried my darnedest to keep the medicine dr

wants me to take down but nope! Up it came.

So I am going to try again in a few minutes. My tummy seems much more

accepting to stuff being in it for a while later in the day.
