Guest guest
who is Tony Attwood?>>> Glad asked because I didn't know who he is either. Are his books a good read? Like I need more books, I have 2 king books, 1 Grisham book and 1 Cornwell book sitting on my desk just waiting to be read. I have 1 SK book going now plus a Stanley Greenspan book and a few magazines but reading is good for the soul right? I hope to get to the library today to get a few more books on Autism too. Re: I got two books today! > > ok, i gotta ask ... who is Tony Attwood? > Hey, isn't anyone gonna answer 's question. I mean I am two days late here! (maybe I deleted the answer?) Tony Attwood is probably the best know Asperger Syndrome expert. He has written a book called Asperger Syndrome: A Guide for Parents and Professionals, and has written a number of articles on it. I gather he is a good speaker and he does a fair amount of lecturing. Salli

Guest guest
I think a lot of us hear like books. For me, they are a great escape, plus I always learn something. Of course, that's when I actually have the opportunity to read. Penny :-D RE: I got two books today! Importance: High tell me how do you like them when you read them. Have you notice that lots of people here like books? Cecilia from Perú, mom to Dessirée (05/07/99)

Or should I > say dark? It's a very marketable skill NOT. I'm on page 298. (of course, I got it more than a week before you did and neglected it during the first hundred pages, reading only before bed) It really has got me. At one point today I gasped, smacked my hand to my chest while my eyes filled with tears...dh remarked, " am I going to have to take that away from you? " At this point, I still don't know if he's going to take the treatment or not. There have been a lot of arguments for and against put forth -- among the 'a team', NOT from Mr Crenshaw -- but I DON'T want him to!!!!! Who knows, though -- maybe I'll change my mind. AFter all, there are still 42 pages to go... and a lot can get said in 42 pages, especially by Lou. Jacquie
