Ask your surgeon!

Mild infections wouldn't be enough if you really need the surgery now, but since

I assume there is no rush, you might prefer to postpone till you are feeling

slightly better.

Anyway the earlier you discuss it with them, the more likely they are to easily

reschedule other people in, or put your mind at ease.
