Guest guest
Thanks for the help. This is a little discouraging but also a little puzzling since my eyes were worse in May when my TSI was 82 and now my eyes are back to normal with a TSI of 100. Isn't that opposite of what is supposed to happen? What should the TSI be if I am in remission- 0? Also, where can I get bugleweed? I am very nervous about trying any herbs because I used to practically live at the health food store and was always on some herb or another. Anyway, I vaguely remember taking kelp for a while and I guess this is what started my Graves' disease. Margaret Re: TSI levels and remission Hi Margaret, Although they're in the normal range, your TSI level has increased and shows that your immune system is producing TSI. If the level continues to rise you'll relapse. To help prevent your level from rising you can try limiting iodine in amounts greater than 150 mcg daily, add goitrogens to your diet and practice stress reduction techniques. This would also be a good time to try the herb bugleweed. Take care, Elaine
