Guest guest
Hi .. this is awesome news.. the babes sound such good weights for the gestation too.. esp for twins.. dont be too scared of a c section.. ive had 3.. each of mine were prem around 32 weeks (30-34) in weights from just under 3lbs to 4lb 2.. its well possible to be up and about even if a bit sore, after a day..in fact when my middle one was transferred i was out of the hospital grounds in less than 24hrs.. and the good news dear.. with three little ones you are going to be the crazy lady anyways.. my prayers are with you.. take care, Grace > Hi everybody- > > Went to the perinatalogist today and everything is going great. I'm at 32 weeks and both babies are head down now so the likelihood of a c-sec. has greatly decreased. Eleanor weighs 3 lbs 10 oz and Arthur weighs 4 lbs 2 oz. > > The perinatalogist is a little worried about me delivering before Christmas so she's seeing me twice next week. I hope I don't deliver that early! Then I'll have 3 children born in December before Christmas. I'll become a crazy lady! But I'll take what I can get. The good thing is that the babies are past the real danger stage if they are born prematurely. > > Congratulations Gisella!!!!!!!!!!! Please don't worry about having the surgery. Your baby will be fine. I liked both Simon's and 's take on the situation. > > Take care, > > > dx & RAI 1987 (at age 24) > > >

Guest guest
- Great update! Eleanor and Arthur have amazing weights for being twins! That is so wonderful! Glad they are also pointing the " right way " . Sounds like it's just a matter of time. You must be so relieved to be past that " danger stage " of premature birth! You did it girl! I am so pleased for you! It would be wonderful either way, but for your sake (and theirs) I hope they don't come before Christmas. It's a busy time of year as it is even without newborn twins! Hope they " cook " a little longer (Still, it would be a pretty special Christmas gift, wouldn't it?) Love to you all! Keep taking it easy! Let us know how it goes next week! Guest guest
Hi everyone, Just wanted to give the tiniest of updates. No baby yet! I'm 38 weeks pregnant and have been having a good week of hefty prelabor contractions and my cervix has begun to dialate. Sounds good, but I lived in this state for nearly a month with my second baby, who was over two weeks late. So far, my thyroid has remained amazingly stable. However, based on advice in Shomon's LIving Well With Hypothyroidism, my doctor has agreed (at my request) to test my thryoid and all other hormones at four days post-partum, two, six, and twelve weeks. Hopefully, this is acting on the cautious side and will catch any major fluctuations before they impact my life too greatly. In retrospect, with both other children I was a little wacky post-partum (probably pretty hyperthyroid although my diagnosis didn't come till my younger was nine months). So I'm a bit anxious about that, but otherwise, feeling ridiculously good, optimistic, and grateful that I was able to have a third child with ease after a Graves diagnosis! I'll have my husband or someone from the list shoot off an email when the baby arrives. Even though I've been too busy to participate much as of late, I owe a huge thanks for the support and wisdom I've found here. B
