Guest guest
Hi My DD was also one of the hyperimmune kids who NEVER EVER got sick before this last winter. She could be around kids with colds - never got one. She rarely gets the dreaded tummy bugs that go around. It's changed now, though, and I'm also encouraged by this. Guest guest
Thanks . I'm already sniffing out some info on proteases and enzymes...Like I have time for this, lol... Thanks, I appreciate the info. L.
Guest guest
Wow, interesting! Immune type problems are definitely not my expertise, so I dont' feel qualified to give a judgment or even to comment on your hypothesis. I do know that there is lab evidence for certain effects of plant enzymes on cytokines and other factors produced by immune cells, but for me to extrapolate that to medical application would be a far reach. Really, this is so interesting. Where's that NIH grant application I had....? Devin > , age 7 has been on the enzymes for close to three weeks, and doing > great. Guest guest
I can sift through my pile of Ton 'o Enzyme Studies and collect the ones on immume systems and cytokines. I don't know which will be most appropriate so I will send anything that looks relavent. It looks like you are up on the technical alphabet soup of things. If you piece something together, please post it. This will take a day or so. Congratulations on a new 'improvement', LOL. .

Hi Liane, This sounds very interesting to me too... Because I am like I am never sick. The last time I can remember being sick was more than 10 years ago. Well, about a week ago I got a very serious virus. I was sick for real for two days. I couldn't believe it how bad it felt. I had high fever and everything... I was wondering about what's happening... I am not taking enzymes, but I did a few rounds of chelation. For sure I had some remarkable improvements in many aspects. I guess my immune system changed a bit too My son is exactly the same way. He is never sick. Even now, I was really sick and of course I had to take care of him and be around him all day, and yet he never even sneezed or anything. Guest guest
Hi - My 12 yo ds w/ Aspergers also never gets sick. Besides the many ear infections he had as a baby. I just realized last fall he has AS and from reading about gfcf I had seen something about that but still don't understand all the technical reasons from this. He's been on enzymes for 3 weeks now too so we'll see. Darlene
Guest guest
yes colds always skirted around my daughter also until very recently. julie [ ] Re: 's got a cold! (and this is a good thing!) Guest guest
's immune system was mixed-partly hyper and partly hypo. He didn't " come down " with things either. After starting Ojibwa Tea of Life, his immune system started " seeing " germs, mounting a response, and he started getting sick:). As his immune system started to regulate itself, there were corresponding improvements in his neurological functioning. I hope that this is the beginning of profound positive changes for you, as it was for my son:) [ ] 's got a cold! (and this is a good thing!) , age 7 has been on the enzymes for close to three weeks, and doing great. The hyperactivity vanished three days ago, and he is just so happy. What has me the most encouraged, is that , who is a " hyperimmune " child (Huge excesses of NK cells in lymphocyte subset panels), and antibodies against MBP and NAF (myelin basic protein and neuro-axial filaments), has a cold. No one ever really knew how to treat what looked like an immune system in overdrive. has not been sick since a bout of the flu in 1996 and the diarrhea he's had since he was seven months old (never went away after a bout of rotavirus). Seriously, he's not had so much as a sniffle, unless it was due to seasonal allergies. woke up with a fever and a cough this morning!!!!!! I never thought I'd be so thrilled about my child having an illness, but he caught it from his sister, something that's never happened here before. Maybe I'm putting to much stock in it, but I find it nothing short of miraculous that 's immune system is now able to get " sick. " And I can only attribute it to the fact that the enzymes are reducing his bodies reaction to his own myelin, therefore bringing down his NK cell count. His CBC of last week had indicated that EOS and IGE were within range for the first time I can remember. Anyone else care to comment? I've only run across one other parent who had a " hyperimmune " kid--most of them seem to have hypoimmunity. Thanks, my curiosity is killing me.
