Guest guest
How much Optifast do you recommend per day? Do you sell it there or have patients order it? Thank you. Guest guest
We recommend Optifast for pts that need to achieve wt below 400 lbs prior to surergy. The amt they consume is based on their BMI, per Novartis recommendations. Guest guest
Pts order Optifast through our pharmacy. We send the initial order to pharmacy, insuring a pt cannot get the product without our recommendation. >>> Humnut413@... 2/7/2006 8:48 AM >>> How much Optifast do you recommend per day? Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for sending this info so quickly. I received it before I left for vacation, so I hadn't had a chance to thank you. What product do you use inpatient post surgery? I would like to switch to Unjury. Do you have any experience with this product? Take care. Sincerely, a Serafino-Cross, MS, RD
Guest guest
Unjury is great. We quit using a protein supplement during the pt's immediate post-op hospitalization, as the products were unpalatable after having sat for awhile and our system couldn't make it better. Since our pts go home so quickly, I instruct them to begin 8 oz of their hi pro supplement TID as soon as they get home. Seems to work well. >>> Humnut413@... 2/26/2006 5:02 PM >>> Hi , Thanks for sending this info so quickly. I received it before I left for vacation, so I hadn't had a chance to thank you. Guest guest
No not for salad dressing. You can also use it for a marinade for meats and vegetables.
