This is from Rust, an opportunity to participate in a hands on research

workshop. As you can see space is limited and the date is right around the

corner. Bobbi Ryder

called " How to Use Medicare-Medicaid Data for Health Services Research " , which

HCFA is paying us to put on especially for researchers from Hispanic Serving

Institutions. Hispanic researchers or people doing research related to migrant

farmworker health would also be welcome. It will be a hands-on workshop, with

us facilitating people developing their research questions, finding out what

variables are in the data, and then looking at real data in the computer lab.

call our office (Ms. Bussell, Ms. Manning, or Mr. Minor at 404-756-5740) if

they're interested.

We're putting on a workshop in San two weeks from now (Feb 22-23) called

" How to Use Medicare-Medicaid Data for Health Services Research " , which HCFA is

paying us to put on especially for researchers from Hispanic Serving

Institutions. Hispanic researchers or people doing research related to migrant

farmworker health would also be welcome. It will be a hands-on workshop, with

us facilitating people developing their research questions, finding out what

variables are in the data, and then looking at real data in the computer lab.

We're running on short notice, but registration is FREE and some travel expenses

can even be supported. Space is limited to about 25 persons. They can call our

office (Ms. Bussell, Ms. Manning, or Mr. Minor at 404-756-5740) if they're

interested.

Please pass this along if you know individuals who are interested in doing this

kind of work.

Thanks!
