Guest guest
Hi Aldyth, The new ranges are .3 to 3.04. (I checked with thyroid-info.com.) They were set by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, so that may convince your doctor. The new guidelines mean that, indeed, you were already hypothyroid last time. Hopefully your doctor will pay more attention to your symptoms with the new guidelines. I've just gotten down to a TSH of 2.3 after being pretty hypo on my ATD (8). Even 2.3 felt hypo at first but I seem to have adjusted to it. Best wishes for your visit!
