Hello all....I am still battling

themiserable bronchitis and now on anti-biotic # 3.

I Had Levaquin in the hospital and Zithromyicin there and at

home....after 2 weeks..a bit better but

not back to the " normal"...still coughing rather deeply and still sort

of "gunky'...now I'm on Augmentin

for 10 more glorious days!!! My ribs still hurt but the heating pad is

working and I have some energy !!

I'm still using the Duo-neb in the nebulizer and it is helping too!

Spring is here and I'm not planning on missing it!

I do have one question...have any of you lost your sense of taste

and/or smell while on antibiotics?

This has been going on since I was admitted and started on the high

Levaquin and continues still. It's really weird...just hot, cold,

smooth, crunchy.

No taste...appetite however is really heightened ..I'm still on 30

Prednisone! I have to stay on that dose until I'm really "back". Then

they will

taper me back to my normal 10mg. I'm trying not to eat...the

puffy-faced me is back and I don't especially like that !

I'll try to get to chat tonight if my voice holds out. I may just sign

in say "hello" and then just ease drop!
