Think I'm feeling the baby move

Well, I'm just 18weeks along and I think I've finally started to feel

baby move. It happened on Saturday, I was lying in bed reading and I

felt this strong tickle right above my belly button. I didn't know

what to make of it and then it happened again. Then it didn't happen

at all the rest of the day....Now today, I feel these flutters all

along my stomach. It's just so neat. I've never felt anything like

this before. I rented a doppler because I wanted to hear the baby's

heartbeat (it's a long 4 weeks between appointments)..and the

heartbeat is so strong. I have also been hearing what sounds like

the baby moving around in there...I'll get a strong heartbeat and

then a swish sound and then it fades and then it gets strong again...

This is the first pregnancy to actually make it this far for me, so

all these sensations are new to me.

I went for my Dr. appt on Thur 2/5 and the heartrate was 162bpm. I

begged and begged for an u/s to find out the sex but Dr was adamant

about it being too soon. So I will find out on 3/4....I know- I

know.. the higher the heartrate the more likely it will be a

girl...Still hoping for a boy...but will be completely satisfied with

either boy or girl....
