Guest guest
Hi, I've been at this page for a while, but I mainly read all your posts and get informed. I am 10 months post op and 30 weeks pregnant, and I was told by my OB this morning that he thought it was best if my surgeon put the g-tube back in to feed me since I was not getting enough nutritients by mouth, and in fact I keep dropping pounds fairly quickly. I've been quite ill with the vomiting, stomach cramps, and all that sort of nuisance. On some days I'm able to hold my food down OK, but there are days where nothing stays down. Supposedly since I only have 10 more weeks to go and this is the period where the baby really grows and needs alot of nutrition my OB decided to agree with my surgeon (who by the way wanted to do this 2 months ago), and suggested I go ahead and have the g-tube in to get the proper nutrients. Has anyone else had this procedure? I'm VERY worried about this, to add to the stress of having a third child, now I have to worry about her being born with muscle/skeletal, growth retardation because of the lack of nutrition. I hope someone can answer my question. Thanks, Nydianne
