Guest guest Posted January 27, 2004 Report Share Posted January 27, 2004 Hey all, Just checking in with everyone. e and I went to our first appointment today and met with the ob/gyn who will deliver our angel. He is AWESOME!!! his is so down to earth and actually in our decade range!! He is soft spoken and funny. When he walked in and started speaking with us he put our chart on the counter and hopped up and sat on the counter. How great is that?!?!?! He asked e if she was always worring herself about eating enough, she said all day. He told her to stop. She has still another 100 lbs to lose so that means that the baby has all of the stored energy " FAT " to survive off of. And that it would be just fine if she does not eat all day long. And he told her to keep up on her meds. That was about it. The baby is 8 weeks 5 days today. We did an ultrasound...WOW the baby is HUGE! compared to 3 weeks ago. We saw his little feet. I say he...we want a boy...he was squirming around. And we heard the heartbeat!!!!!!! We were crying. It was 158hpm!!!! she is only 8 1/2 weeks. That is amazing!!! So everything is well. We love our doctor and our baby is as healthy as an ox!!!
