Guest guest
I was pregnant because I passed one sac and had to have a D&C to remove the other two. What is a phantom pregnancy? From what you have discribed, that is what it sounds like. > >Niki > RE: misscarriage > > > Tammy, > > Please don't listen to what he said was the reason for your miscarriage. I had a miscarriage with triplets in September and it was just that the sac formed but nothing else so it was just my body saying that it was not the right time. Don't blame yourself for anything you did or didn't do. It is hard enough to get over having the miscarriage to have your doctor put the blame on you. Give yourself time to heal and know that you will be okay and can try again. Take good care of yourself and I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts. > > > DE > RNY 10/16/02 > Katelyn 6/94 > Miscarriage w/triplets 9/03 > EDD#2 8/2/04 > > " tfarrison2002 " tfarrison2002@...> wrote: > > >Hello Everyone > >I am new to this sight Glad I found it. Guest guest
from what I understand, and I may not be correct in this, a phantom pregnancy is where your body THINKS it is pregnant, creates the sack, you have all the normal symptoms, but there was never actually a fertilized egg. I think I have also heard it called a false pregnancy. Heck, someone may have been pulling my leg when they told me this... and I am making a total fool out of my self by repeating it. Guest guest
Niki, I never heard of a phantom pregnancy but then again that doesn't mean anything. My OB never told me that is what he believed it was even after they sent it to the lab to be examined. Don't feel like a fool for what someone told you.
