,

Shakes are a great idea. What do you do about your other child? I

don't want Becca getting all of these extra calories, but I know if I

give this to , she will want also. If I don't give it to her,

the second puts his down (which won't take long, trust me) she

will pick it up and drink it. Right now everything belongs to both

of them. Any ideas on how to make low-fat great tasting shakes to

give her?

I know I'm not the only parent of twins (or siblings), what does

everyone else do?

My son is just 13 months younger, so I totally understand what you

mean. How I do it is this: I have a little handmixer -- it's not

even a mixer but its something that you stick in a large glass or

bowl that makes shakes, etc. But it makes it easy to make quick

shakes. Anyway --

I make TWO shakes. Since my son is also thin, he can still eat the

good ice cream and milk. So for his, I just skip the Pediasure and

Carnation Instant Breakfast.

If I had a sibling who did NOT need extra calories, then I would

probably also substitute low-fat ice cream, etc.

Here is another idea. Get two different new cups - different

colors. Make them the kids' special shake cups. They then can't

drink out of each others. You can talk about germs or whatever. My

son thinks that 's milkshake has medicine in it. HA! You

could use low fat frozen yogurt for the sibling as well.
