Guest guest Posted November 4, 2004 Report Share Posted November 4, 2004 ACK, My 11 week old son, Jordan developed a pressure sore on his heel. I took him to the Orthopedic center today and they said no dbb for 4 days. I disagree. I have to take the brace to the Orthotist tomorrow and have the heel made to fit my son's foot better. I will put it back on tomorrow night or Saturday morning if the sore looks better. I am so afraid of relapse. Fortunately, my son's foot is very flexible and the tendons are loose. He's only been in the Markell's for 3 weeks. He didn't need a tetonomy. I guess he has a milder form of club foot but I still don't want to take any chances. I told the doctor and the physical therapist my concerns but they feel that he will be fine a few days out of the brace. I am still erring on the side of caution.
