Guest guest Posted January 15, 2004 Report Share Posted January 15, 2004 hi ladies!! i know i havent been able to reply to post but wanted a chance to say HI!!!! and WELCOME !!!to all the newbies CONGRATS!!!! to those pregnant and GOOD LUCK to those TTC !! i have been able to read most of the post and see theres alot going on with all of you and have to say that i am glad to be part of such a caring and supporting group you all seem so great . i was reading the post of the terrible GAS and really want to say a few words on the subject....i had heard prior to WLS that there was an issue with terrible gas after GBS so i talked to the lady whom inspired me to have my WLS before having it done about the GAS rumor i heard, she laughed so hard and told me it was not true that she was no more gassy after her surgery then before and none of the people she new with the WLS had an issue either.... and now i hear you ladies talking of the gas issue i laugh so hard from day one after my open RYN GBS ( 7-21-03)i am nearly 6 months post op but i am 5 months pregnant the terrible stintch of my gas is beyond belief but now i wonder is this because of the pregnancy or the GBS ???? things that make you say hummmmm....lol i never thought to bring this up to anyone this is an embarrassing thing to speak of to people except the dear ones i see disappearing from the same room i am in from time to time lmao i never thougth it was anything but the GBS seeing as the WLS has to do with the lower intestine i thought the rumor was real and all to real for me lol. on a real note i seen there was a lose in the group and i wanted to give my heart felt sympathy i know all of us whom have been there (7 pre-WLS) feel your pain and want you to know there is hope never give up trying my son ( pre WLS 12-30-02) is living proof.... open RYN 7-21-03 400/290 edd...6-8-04 Ledgen 12-30-02 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
