Guest guest
Please be praying for Grace tomorrow as she will have her follow up with Dr Frick. We have never seen him. I am thinking she may get a cast or something. She definetly needs something done to help the tightness in her right foot. I have kind of been wondering if she was an atypical case which was not ever noticed becuase it was over 3 years ago and much before Dr Ponseti ever begain seeing " atypical " cases. She really has fit into much of the criteria though. Short fat feet, deep creases on the soles, very deep creases on her heels that never went away after treatment.......Anyways, just keep her in your prayers. Do you think if she needs another cast that they would just go ahead and do it without warning or would they have us come back? Just wanting to know what I should expect. Thanks for listening! Anyone going to be there tomorrow?

Guest guest
, You and Grace will definitely be in our thoughts tomorrow. I hope Dr. Frick will be able to ease your anxieties some. Hopefully he's had some discussion w/ the Iowa group about the a-typical cases, and if not, I'm sure he'd be happy to call there to discuss it with them via phone to see what they can come up with for a gameplan for Grace. If he does re-cast, I don't see why they couldn't do it while you're there...most orthopaedic offices are set up w/ the staff and equipment to apply/remove casts without much notice. Keep us posted and travel safely!!!!!! & (3-16-00) left clubfoot
