Guest guest
well now I know that my neuro must have never really read my report only glanced at it..when he called he said the study was abnormal and it was something about resistive airway syndrome..he said maybe you have asthma and wanted me to try a inhaler. I know it wasnt asthma so after I posted her I researched it with you guys help and found that it is a form of obstructive sleep apnea and is treated with CPAP. Anyway I called him and told him this...He agreed to order a CPAP titration study. So I also asked for a copy of my report and right on the front page it states very clearly Abnormal study consistent with upper airway resisitive syndrome recommend a nasal CPAP titration study. Glad I didnt listen to him and just go with the Inhaler... I have a few questions In the 8 hours of sleep the report says there was no slow wave sleep...what is this? there was no stage 3 or stage 4 sleep....anyone know what these stages are? there was 130 arousals and 16 awakenings my minimum O2 sat was 78% thanks
