Guest guest
Hi Kithain What is your co worker saying and to whom is she saying it…is it personal or is it work related…what kind of problems are being caused with your boss and how is it trickling down to you? It must be horrid for you to say the least…and to advise you to ignore it is fruitless when it is causing you this much angst… What does this coworker have against you that she/he would wish to hurt you this way Care to let more out..i am here to listen.. Sincerely Support Needed Hi everyone, I could use a little moral support to make it through the day today. My coworker has started causing problems for me with my boss again. That started a major fiasco yesterday afternoon. Today is so horrible. I don't even want to be here. I want to just quit this stupid job, and live off my credit cards until I find another one, which is not the most responsible thing to want to do. I cried so hard last night, I made my flare even worse, kicked in a sinus headache, and let me tell you when you're nose is broken, the last thing you want to do is cry! Today my coworker has discussed me twice on the phone, as if I wasn't even in the same room! I could really use some support, or I don't think I'll make it through the day. Thanks so much. Having a very bad day,

My coworker is just someone who enjoys creating trouble for others. That's all. Beyond that, I really don't feel right revealing more details. Gossiping is not something I like to do. Whether the person is being mean to me or not. Thanks again for the support. It means a lot to me.
Guest guest
Hi , I am so sorry to hear your having such a horrid day! Some people are so ignorant and cruel! Definitely don't be rash and quit your job right away, it sounds like that's exactly what this coworker is trying to get you to do. I would possibly start looking though for something else, you don't need this kind of stress! It definitely makes the flare worse! This person must be jealous and envy you because it seems this type of thing sometimes happens with people like that, that's what my mom tells me, " they're just jealous of you, be the bigger person " . I don't know if this is the case or not, this coworker sounds like she could just be a down right mean person period! And with the telephone thing, I would say to this person to please not discuss me as if I'm not in the room and if you have a problem with me you need to come to me and resolve this like adults not act like some high school kid!! This kind of thing just makes me very angry because I went through something similar with a supervisor and a coworker, I quit my job to quickly and just three months after I left she got fired, the supervisor. My thoughts are with you and I hope you can make it through the day without them causing you anymore stress!! Please take care and be strong, I know you can! Honestly, I don't know why my coworker is the way she is. I don't know why she would be jealous of me. But yeah, the whole situation is like being in junior high. And I was right there being childish too, yesterday, because I got so frustrated. I hate being like that. It doesn't happen often. I'm looking for a new job. I've been going through monster.com, and I have everyone I know networking for me. Keep you fingers crossed that I'll find something quickly, so I can get out of here. Thanks again. Guest guest
, I know how you feel, I went threw that a my last job. I had 4 I had to deal with, I would walk in the room and they would start giggling and laughing and whispering. I took that for a long time, they made me look bad in front of the boss which she was friends with all of them. It was hard to go to work, I dealt with that and not knowing what was wrong with me at the same time. I took if for 2 years then I snapped and went after one of them verbaly, I lost my job but the best thing in the world was to get away from such a stressfull inviroment!! I feel for you and know what you are going threw, I hope something else comes along soon for you or your disability one. I will be thinking of you and put you in my prayers!! Hang in there lady!! Guest guest
Thanks for the support Sherri. I'm sorry you had to go through something similar to this. Yeah, I don't suppose my boss has much of a spine either, but I do know it's harassment that I'm dealing with, and if I get mad enough, I might be able to work my way around to thinking it would be ok to sue the pants off of them. I don't normally believe in suing, but after today, with my coworker doing her best to harass me out of here, I'm thinking I might chnage my mind. Thanks again for being here for me. It's made a big difference in me getting through this day. Hugs to you, and everyone else,
Guest guest
just me again, HEY at one time I use to sit with these people I worked with then I was made in charge when the boss left, was good for awhile then one of the other ones wanted to be in charge! That was went all my trouble began for me, people can be cruel and believe me I found out the hard way. Going to my boss or head personel didn't help either. It made it worse, you don't have to hear everything that is said you know when you are being talked about and made fun of. I was told it was in my head because of my medical problems, don't let that happen to you!!! It is harrassment and I wish now I would of took further action and got a lawyer and sued them all!! It made my fibro so bad at times I would have to leave at lunch time and not go back, I hated going every day to that place. Finding another job is the answer unless your boss is willing to take care of this problem, unfortinutely my boss had no back bone against nobody, they was her friends!! shirley Re: Support Needed Hi , I am so sorry to hear your having such a horrid day! Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who was so supportive yesterday. It really helped me to get through the day. Things aren't any better today, other than I'm trying to find it amusing that the more pleasant I am to my coworker, the more angry she gets at me. I have what I hope are several promising leads on new jobs, and about 30 places to send my resume to this weekend. I am so hoping I can be out of here by next Friday at the latest. Again, thanks to everyone. You have no idea how much I appreciate all the support I got. :-) Everybody take care.

Guest guest
Oh , I am really sorry to hear about your problems you have at the moment. Are you able to see your Human Resources Manager as they are trained to deal with problems like these and to discipline those who are causing problems to anybody within the company. I know this is easy for me to say but dont give your co worker the satisfaction of seeing you give up your work. After all you are a valuable member of the workforce and lets face it you like all of us need the money so it would be a bit silly leaving and living off your credit cards as you will put yourself in debt then you will have two things to worry about. I hope this advice will help you hun, unfortunately there are a lot of nasty uncaring people in this world and it sounds like your co worker is one of them. See someone in authority at your workplace and get this sorted out. Good luck hun and please let me know how you get on. Guest guest
Lin, Thanks for the support. I appreciate it. So far, I haven't let my coworker drive me out of my job. I'm frantically applying for work everywhere. As soon as I find something, I'm gone. I wish I had a human resources person to go to. Our company is too small. I'm definitely going to go for a larger company next time. None of this 3 person office crap! Thanks for the advice. I'm working on rectifying the problem.
