Guest guest
Well, there DO seem to be depo people out there, yeah. Now, I am really concerned that I should not have taken the depo to keep from getting pregnant during my first year post op. I just didnt want to crush a birth control pill and cross my fingers that it worked. But, there is nothing I can do now but dissappoint my husband by taking longer to concieve. He is SO ready, he really didnt want to wait a year for me to have the surgery but I insisted it was for the best which we both know now it was. I was on Depo for one year so I hope that wasnt too long to do too much damage. Before that, I was on the pil for what 13 years??? I have never been pregnant so I dont know how fertile I am, but my mother and my sister both have told me that they got pregnant REALLY easy, my mom even while ON the pill after missing only one day. So, I am keeping my fingers crossed. I really wanted to be pregnant by this summer. So my questions to you depo people are, how long were you on it and how long after you got off did you get your period back? Thanks for the emails. They depressed me a little, but I would rather know what to expect that keep getting disappointed month after month when my ob told me a couple of months! This was my first visit to this ob, any ob for that matter (my pcp has done all my exams), my sister in law is about to have her 3rd with this lady, so I thought she was better than a name out of a book. Maybe I need to reconsider that too! a little frustrated now, angela in atlanta
