Guest guest
a, I mapped out College Station, TX to Iowa City, IA on mapquest, and the *driving* distance is 1029 miles. That's via the major interstates, which aren't a straight line there... so going in an airplane " as the crow flies " from your place to Iowa would be less than 1000 miles. I hope you can get there! Guest guest
I know for sure that Waco is close enough for Angel Flights. You see, I am in Washington, about 3 hours from Seattle; THAT is why they would not help us ... it was just too far. Are you planning on going once a week or staying the whole time? It is easier to stay the whole time, but may not be very cost effective for you. Use whatever conncetions you have! If nothing else, he can get you the appropriate numbers to call. Good luck! Angel Re: Dr. Ponseti's reply to Logan's feet. Angle, i just replied to Lori. i have taken many deep breaths. It's not the way his feet are it is just that now i know there is someone out there that really knows how to correct his feet. to anyone. How many miles is it from Waco (i am in College Station) to Iowa? Too many miles? i guess that would be the first thing i need to find out because if we can not take Angle Flights going up there once a week is not happening. i have 22 days vacation begining on January 1 so time off is not a problem but i may have to go by myself and i have never flown before. Oh my. Three weeks just me and Logan..........WOW. and you know if they fire me fine let them i want to be a stay at home mom anyway.......lol P.S. i have a friend that her dad flies for Angle Flights in Idaho. Maybe he can pull some strings........... paula logan 07/12/
Guest guest
I know also that the house will not turn you away. If you cannot afford that long of a stay with them, they will work with you on it. so if you take the angel flights and stay at the RMH, your only expenses will be an occasional dinner out and maybe some groceries. But they keep a fully stocked pantry and fridge and lots of breads and goodies at the house. We stayed for over 8 weeks and it was so worth it to be able save the time on casting every five days as opposed to every 7. makes a big difference. in two weeks you gain one whole cast. congrats on going and Lord bless you! Remember, trust in the One who created him, He loves Logan so much more than you do...imagine that!! jason atypical bl cf 10-09-03 > a, > I mapped out College Station, TX to Iowa City, IA on mapquest, and > the *driving* distance is 1029 miles. I'm not sure how many miles it is to Iowa City from Waco, but I'm sure if you contact Angel Flights they will help you. http://www.angelflightamerica.org/ Good luck, and 11/10/03 bilateral clubfoot dbb 23/
