Problems with Dennis Brown bar shoes..??

Hi. I'm a norwegian mum,my sun is 1,5 years old. He has clubfoot on

both feet and is beeing treated with the Ponseti method. My problem

now is that I'm having trouble to get him accept the Dennis Brown

bar. At age 7months he started wearing it at night only,and that was

when the problems started. He just won't accept it. Kicks it off,crys

for hours. The doctors at my hospital says he is the only one having

trouble accepting it,and this make me feel very bad,and wondering if

maybe I am the problem..not trying hard enough and so on.. Is there

anyone else out there who has children that don't accept the bar..???
