te,

It is a fertility tester that tells you when you are about to

ovulate. Since I have been told that you can ovulate without having

af after coming off depo provera, I decided it was a worthy

investment for me. You can buy this thing at any drug type store.

They are all 199 that is why I thought to try the internet. The test

strips for the machine are 30 for 50 bucks which is suppossed to be a

3 month supply for a normal woman. Given that I am not normal due to

the depo, I will take the test strip every day until I develop a

routine. This is just my choice to help give me peace of mind while

I work through this depo hell journey. And, just on the off chance,

that I can get pregnant before the statistics say I will!!! The

reason the machine is so much is that is is reusable unlike the

tester strip you buy, they are one time deals. So instead of

spending like 18 bucks for 5 tester strips each time, I am spending

100 for the machine (investment) and then it will be roughly 50 bucks

a months instead of the 100 or so to buy the individual testers.

Again, my situation is different because I am coming off depo and

havent had a period in a year. It might not help at all, but it will

help pass the time, and then, in a few months, if I havent gotten a

cycle back yet, when I go see a doc, I will have done tons of work to

know what if anything my body is doing to help them decide my next

step.

Hi,

Thanks for the info. Do you know of any internet sites for WLS patients

regarding contraception methods.
