Greetings,

Alcohol: My neurologist said I could have a drink in the evening, but would

probably not be able to finish it. He is correct.

I have found even small amounts of alcohol will make me fall asleep very

quickly. I have also noticed that the next day that I have rather severe

head pain. We are talking about just a few sips. I have however been able

to " taste " a new brew but that is about it. I think it is probably more

trouble than it is worth. I used to enjoy a beer at night after the kids

were down, and the days work done. No more. I don't seem to like the taste

much. Christmas we had wine with dinner. Bad Move, Joe! Not worth the pain

later.

so that's it; for what it is worth.

Peace,

joe in PA, ACM1, 8mm decompressed 1999 Mayo Clinic

I do agree there. I did not think 1/2 glass would hurt but not to make it a

habit. I did not know I was pregnant when i had those 2 kaluhas but i know i

would of been too nervous to try ti if I had known. Better to be safe than

sorry, exspecially where our little babies are concerned.

God Bless,

I wanted to do a big " PS " and define " occasionally " ...

occasionally in the context of my post would mean a

few times throughout a pregnancy...

not to mean once or twice a week...big big difference.

just wanted to add that..

I'm glad to hear your opinion, because that's the same one I have.

I couldn't bring myself to drink anything in the first trimester

(though I took my pregnancy test after 2 beers) and now (I'm just

beginning the third) although O'douls is my friend, if I want a sip

or two, I will have it... though a sip (probably teaspoonful) of

schnapps will knock me out.

It's been awful being sick... because I'm sure a shot of

Jaegermeister would have knocked out this cold I've been fighting!!
