That's via the major interstates, which aren't a straight line there... so going in an airplane " as the crow flies " from your place to Iowa would be less than 1000 miles. I hope you can get there! Guest guest
a, Angel Flights does have to be less than 1,000 nautical miles, but there is a National Patient Travel Hotline that may be able to find you free or deep discount commercial air travel to Iowa. The number is 1-. They also have a website at www dot patienttravel dot org, but all it really tells you is to call the hotline for details. Hope this helps you! Guest guest
I dont know for your area. It was the Northwest division that denied me. I think it was not only the distance, but that it would be outside their " area " . You cant know for sure what they will say until you get ahold of them. Here is some information: http://www.angelflightamerica.org/contactus.html#requestflight Re: Re: Dr. Ponseti's reply to Logan's feet. so Angle Flights has to be less than 1000 miles? jennyandkelly jenrichtrevillian@...> wrote: a, I mapped out College Station, TX to Iowa City, IA on mapquest, and the *driving* distance is 1029 miles. Guest guest
REally about all we ever bought staying at the RMD house was milk. They generally don't supply fresh things but as far as non-perishables go gee wiz there's a mountain of that to choose from and it's kind of fun to be creative and try things you've never had or wouldn't buy at home for whatever reason. Even staying eight weeks - shoot they have pantries full of tooth paste, shampoo, toilet paper, stationary.....you honestly want for nothing there. Guests who have bought things like salad dressing or mustard for example often leave that behind when they go home, so there is often lots of condiments to use with your meals, spices, etc. You can get fat there if you're not careful. s. I know also that the house will not turn you away. If you cannot afford that long of a stay with them, they will work with you on it. so if you take the angel flights and stay at the RMH, your only expenses will be an occasional dinner out and maybe some groceries. But they keep a fully stocked pantry and fridge and lots of breads and goodies at the house. We stayed for over 8 weeks and it was so worth it to be able save the time on casting every five days as opposed to every 7. makes a big difference. in two weeks you gain one whole cast. congrats on going and Lord bless you! Remember, trust in the One who created him, He loves Logan so much more than you do...imagine that!! jason atypical bl cf 10-09-03 > a, > I mapped out College Station, TX to Iowa City, IA on mapquest, and > the *driving* distance is 1029 miles.
