Guest guest
Laurie, I'm really glad you have a good neuro who likes puzzles, and whom you have a lot of trust in. Why does it always seem we leave with more issues and questions than when we arrived at the appointment? You will have to let me know what happens. My testing is the 8th and 9th of November. I'll let you know when I find out more. Kristie Message: 10 Date: Thu, 28 Oct 2004 21:29:18 -0400 Subject: Re: Re : lungs Kristie I hope the spot is nothing to be concerned about. I had an hour and a half appointment with my neurologist today and left with pages of labs to get. He wants me to see another pulmonologist since he was concerned that the reason for the fibrosis had not been determined and this is someone he knows is interested in neuromuscular diseases. Since the connective tissue issues were not addressed he ordered some initial labs for that. He ordered another 24 hour urine to check my kidney spilling as I am having more cramping. He also ordered some initial labs for the lipomas. That will be on hold until I see my orthopod and the new pulmonologist. He keep telling me about different diseases that presented in different ways and had to be checked. He even talked about Jerry 's pulmonary fibrosis and the things they had ruled out before calling it idiopathic. At another point he said " I don't why I know all this stuff as a neurologist " . He is a very good diagnostician and loves puzzles. I'm glad to give him this puzzle. I'll keep you posted when I finally get some feedback from the labs, etc. laurie
