Guest guest
I'm curious, is exema seasonal? I remember when I was little the skin on my fingertips would get dry and peel off. It was not fun because the skin underneath was very sensitive. It happened every winter. I did grow out of it. Now this is happening with my 4 year old starting in the past couple of weeks. I didn't complain much about it when I was little, I doubt my mom even knew it happened. But he's picking at his fingers and just a bit ago picked it enough so the healthy skin was pulled off and it's bleeding. I'm thinking just a lotion will help, and have been putting it on his fingers but now I wonder if this is some form of exema? Or is it just that he is sensitive to the change in weather and it's just dry skin. Isn't it funny how some things get passed to your children and others don't? My oldest has my fingernails, they come apart in layers and my hangnails I used to get a lot as a kid. Merek has my peely finger tips. Darbi... well, she's a girl. lol... so far I don't know what I passed to her! Kori At 04:28 PM 12/21/2004, you wrote: >I have eczema on my hands and yes what a mess. Guest guest
I guess I should have read 's response before I typed mine!!! LOL! Anyway, I just wanted to add that if I peel oranges I get eczema. It's weird, and very annoying, since I love clementines. I just have to get DH to peel them....and feed them to me...and rub my feet...and bring me coffee in bed...gee, how far can I take this??? " sorry honey, the washing machine gives me eczema...
