Guest guest
, We usually did not put anything over Jonah's casts while they were still wet--a day or so. A blanket over them in the car seemed to do fine. Most of his pull-on pants seemed to fit over the casts just fine. We stocked up on any oufits that snapped all the way along the inseams because those made the life in the FAB easier. If they snapped all the way from chin to ankle, that was even better. We've had casts before, but not full leg casts. Do pants fit over them? How long does it take for them to dry and will a blanket over his legs help keep him warm? Thanks,
Guest guest
, I think your son is older I forget exactly how old he is. Anyway, every baby is different. Does he have really chubby legs? If so, chances are most clothing will not fit over the casts. My daughter is a 'chunk-a-roni' and then with the casts on, her legs are huge! I can't fit anything over the casts. I have been using onzies (every style, color, etc.). Now that it is getting a little more chilly out, I put onzies with long sleeves on. Don't worry about covering the legs with a blanket. The casts keep them very warm. You will just have to try different things to see what works best for you. Good luck, keep us posted. Guest guest
The booties that come with a lot of outfits work nice over the feet to keep the toes warm or else we used toddler tube socks to keep the toes warm and the cast clean. The bag sleepers work good but don't fit in the car seat unless you cut a slit in them. They are also easy to make yourself if you need some bigger sizes.
