Hi there

I am new to this group and have added two photos of my who has

a right club foot. He also has a curled pinky on this foot which

will be operated on Monday 6th December. He has already had his

achilles tendon lengthened. is wearing his DBB 12 hours at

night. Were not quite sure for how long, I am guessing 2 years

minimum. For those of you who have been through the DBB, how old

was your child when they were boot free?

We live in Melbourne, Australia. I am impressed with all of the

information provided here. I only wish I had found it when was

born.

I have copied some of the information/tips from this group and will

give it to our orthopedic surgeon to give to other parents with

children of club foot/feet. I also plan give a copy to the

orthotics department of the children's hospital who fit the DBB.
