Guest guest
I'm now at 10 weeks and have had terrible nausea most of the time - unless I was asleep. It has eased off a little but I'm having a lot of problems with food and wondering if anyone else is having these same problems. I find that I'm having a hard time getting protein in and I do well with carbs like bread, crackers, etc - things I had pretty much totally given up during my weight loss period. I really do well with salads and fruit. My problem is this: foods seem to make me feel like I'm dumping or just really make me feel full. I've found myself throwing up just to feel better (and it works) - this can be after I've eaten only a small amount of something. I can usually go and eat a little more and keep it down. Also, whenever I eat different kinds of foods - or more than one or two items I also feel sick. I think this is just pregnancy but was wondering if anyone else is having real issues with food? I was a star student according to my gastric bypass surgeon after surgery but I feel like a flunk out now. Has pregnancy just changed the way my body is dealing with food? Thanks!
