DBB in restaurants, grocery shopping?

I am wondering what you experienced DBB moms do to have a portable

baby in a DBB.... for example - she cannot sit in restaraunt high

chairs unless I was to take off the bar and screw it back on,

trapping her in the chair. Then I worry - what if she was choking and

I couldn't get her out quickly??? We do not use her infant carrier

any more. Any suggestions??

Also, what to do when grocery shopping alone? I can't sit her in the

front of the cart because of the bar, but it is hard to push a

stroller and a cart at the same time!

" Grin and bear it " may be the only answer, at least until she's not

in them 23/7.. but I'm interested if anyone has any creative

suggestions.
