Guest guest
Jen, this is just my opinion but I think that it is perfectly normal. The same thing happens with Owen. It even happens to me if I happen to be wearing my shoes all day long - when I take my shoes and socks off to go to bed, it usually takes a few minutes for them to regain their colour. Guest guest
Hi Jen, My little girl Grace has been in her Markell shoes (buckles inside as well) for 2 months now wearing 23/7. Her little feet are also red on the tops when they come out of the shoes...it dosen't seem to cause her any discomfort. I just give her little tootsies a nice wash in the bath and a good rub down when she gets her hour out. I would think if they were uncomfortable, they would definately let us know! LOL! I know my little one would! - ) Mommy to Grace 07-21-04 Unilateral RCF DBB's 23/7 > > Hi my son is 4 months old (bcf)dbb fab 23\7 markell shoes > with the buckles on the inside. He has been doing great,I use thick > socks to keep his feet warm even though they said thin socks work > better.(I like the thick ones.)He started off with the markell > sandals at the 7th hole and then gradually moved to the 6th but I > have noticed that when I take the shoes off for that hour his feet > are very white and than it takes a minute or two and the become red > is this normal or do i have them on to tight. Guest guest
Jen-- In his last pair of shoes(Markells), Jonah's feet were almost always bright red when we took his shoes off. I think it is in part due to poor circulation and mostly to not being able to move his feet around really at all in the FAB. It took about 5 minutes for the redness to go away. My husband always rubs Jonah's feet as soon as he takes the shoes off(it's a very sweet thing: rubs Jonah's feet and names the bones as he touches them--and how many 16 month old kids can say " metatarsal " ?). I've always thought that helps get the blood circulating a little better. Seems like these kids are always giving us something else to be anxious about, doesn't it? It makes me ever so grateful for this group!
