8mos post op & 21weeks pregnant

Hi All.

I am 8mos post op and 21weeks pregnant. I did not plan on becoming

pregnant so soon after wls however, I had to take fertility meds for

my prior pregnancies. I am glad now that I am pregnant and

everything is going well.

My OB said he would like me to gain 10lbs by the end of this

pregnancy. I have gained 1lb according to his scale. ( at home my

scale says I did not gain at all) I am so huge with baby already. I

am told that because it's my second pregnancy and the fact that I had

OPEN RNY I started showing alot sooner. My last pregnancy I was

97lbs heavier so I didn't really look pregnant but this time Oh MY do

I look pregnant. I found out that I am having another boy his name

is Shane Everett. If I had to choose I would have waited the 12mos

to conceive but I am happy that I have a healthy baby. I wish

Congratulations, you are doing great and will probably gain the 10 lbs

towards the end and you will lose it FAST after the baby is born. Good Luck with

everything and welcome to the group..
