The shoes are not better just different. Most of us that

have the shoes had problems in the Markell shoes first. The

shoes were designed for atypical clubfeet.

insurance seldom covers them. So if the Markell shoes work for you I

would stick with them. Yes you have to buy the whole system the

first time then you can just buy shoes sense the bar is adjustable.
