Having Amnio on Friday and scared Anyone else have one done??

After having my 2 ultrasound and a perinatologist telling me they are

worried about my babies arms and legs being short compared to his

head, being im in my late 30's.... yes they have told me its a boy.

I had tested negative for down syndrom with the blood test but he

said its just a screening like it doesnt mean anything. He said my

baby could have some chormesome abnormalities or it could just be the

way he is growing. I know alot of people dont agree with getting an

amnio and the Dr told me which i didnt like his answer that if I

wasnt gonna terminate the pregnancy then why bother doing the amnio

now I am 20 weeks prego. Now even thou having an amnio scares me.

The not knowing if there is something wrong with my baby is gonna eat

at me the last 4 months. I figure if there is something wrong and

they find it in the amnio and I can research it and know what I will

have to deal with. I am hoping and praying that its just that this

baby is growing the way he is and there is nothing wrong. Anyone

else have one done and can tell me there experience would be greatly

appreciated. And all the prayer I could get would be greatly

appreciated as well. Thanks for listening.
