Sunny, Sounds familiar. My biggest problem has always been strings

of numbers. Even as a young adult I could never remember my phone

number or zip code. Very embarrassing. I had an awful time in

foreign language classes because they were pure memory work. Once

years ago I got to the checkout stand at the grocery store where I

shopped every week and could not for the life of me remember the

name of the store to write on the check. I've never had memory

testing, but my son did at the NIH. His visual memory was half of

normal and his auditory memory was one-third of normal. He has found

ways to compensate as an adult and does well. Though a friend told

him he has the memory of a flea...
