Guest guest
Well - I was able to get the flu shot today. I guess I'm one of the few who are on the high priority list at my PCP's office. There was no problem at all in getting it. We didn't go into detail about my thyroid issues because there is more concern about the swelling on the right side of my neck and the pain I am in on the right side of my back. She examined this and found the lumps that are there as well as the on on my right arm. We suspect that these are lipomas, cysts or fybroma. I was referred to a surgeon who I will see on 11/1 but the woman who took the appointment call said that she was going to talk to the triage nurse to see if she can approve getting me in sooner. I guess this means more doctor's appointments and tests. Oh joy! Alice
Guest guest
Alice I'm glad you were able to get your flu shot. I am also glad they are moving to get you seen for the swelling. I know it will be a relief to know for sure what is there. I'll be thinking of you. Guest guest
Hi Alice, I am happy to hear you were able to get your flu shot. My husband waited to get his until today when he had his appt. with his PCP. He is also a High priority patient. But when he got there and asked for the shot, they informed him that they didn't get ANY Flu vaccines this year at all. So now we are going to have to run around like crazy to find a place that has the Flu shot available, especially since I will not be getting one. And the Flu Shot clinics that I spoke about in a previous post were last week, oh well.... Sorry that you are having so much pain right now. I know what pain feels like, I live with it daily and have for over 20 yrs. I am sorry that you will be having more doctors appts. and tests, but at least they will get to the bottom of this for you. Good Luck Hugs, Ann-marie Flu Shot + Well - I was able to get the flu shot today. I guess I'm one of the few who are on the high priority list at my PCP's office.
