Spotting Question Update -- Not Good News, I'm sorry to say

Just as I thought -- there was something wrong. The baby had stopped

growing at 6 weeks. I was suppose to be 11 weeks but the baby had

not developed properly. I knew something was wrong when I went to

empty my bladder during the ultrasound and I started bleeding -- not

a good sign. =) My ob gave me some medication to help me pass the

baby and tissue so I'm going through all of that right now. I'm doing

ok though it's hard to lose a baby but I can't complain too much. We

were blessed with a baby boy last year so this would have been

another blessing as well but it just wasn't meant to be. I think

what happened was the baby had stopped growing and the spotting

was a sign that something was wrong but it's so hard to tell if

something is wrong w/o an ultrasound. I had my 1st ultrasound to

confirm the pregnancy on 12/26 and compared with my ultrasound

yesterday, the baby had stopped growing/developing the same day. I'm

just relieved to know what happened so we can heal and move on.

Thank you for all of your support and good thoughts. I wish all of

happy, healthy pregnancies and hope to be back posting in a few
