Guest guest
I was waiting for your post saying you were back home tonight! Have a safe trip tomorrow and I am so sorry to hear about your grandpa. Lord bless you and your family. > We're leaving tomorrow morning and will see Dr. P on Wednesday A.M. Then it's off to St. Louis for a visit and the funeral of my grandpa. I'm so glad we won't be driving in blizzard conditions that I am actually looking forward to going. Yep. Warped mind! Guest guest
Thanks . We are home now. Didn't make it to St. Louis because had a bout of croup while at the RMH. We saw a Nurse Practitioner while we waited for Dr. P and she confirmed that her lungs were clear and that we needed to see her physician for assistance as soon as possible due to her lengthy medical history. So we came home with her last cast in this series which we'll leave on for 3 weeks and then soak off. Chris Re: Headed Back to Iowa I was waiting for your post saying you were back home tonight! Guest guest
Aaaaahhh, the joys of croup! I am sorry you missed your grandpa's funeral. But I hope that is feeling better soon. We have quite a history with croup in this family. I know the signs now soon enough and can get to the doctors to get the oral steroid treatment early enough. but with the first few times, we spent many a night in ER doing the breathing treatment! How exciting!! You are on the last casts! has one week left and then we can soak them off too. Oh I am so happy for you guys! I am sorry that you've had to deal with issues from poor treatment as well. Hopefully new people joining will read our stories and learn from our pasts. But for whatever reason, this is the path we are on, and God will work this out for our good! Hang in there sweetie and give that girl a bath in three weeks!! I am so looking forward to tub time! Welcome back! > > We're leaving tomorrow morning and will see Dr. P on Wednesday A.M. > Then it's off to St. Louis for a visit and the funeral of my grandpa. > I'm so glad we won't be driving in blizzard conditions that I am > actually looking forward to going.
