Guest guest Posted December 14, 2004 Report Share Posted December 14, 2004 Okay, so the whole story isn't so cute. It was actually a really bad night. The stomach bug has been going around our house. My 8 year old had it Thurs/Fri. Then my husband wakes up hurling at 2am Sunday morning and then wakes up one hour later at 3 am throwing up (where's the cute part, right). I had to take off his shoes because he pretty much covered everything and put him in the bathtub. So I take him back to bed with me. A few hours later (and a few changes of clothes, sheets, etc) we finally turn off the TV to try and get some sleep before it gets light outside. And he says WAIT! My shoes, I need my shoes on. I explain to him that I had cleaned them and they were drying and it was okay because he had already worn them a large part of the night. He holds his little feet up in the air and says NOOOOO, they will get crooked. I tell him it's okay a few hours won't hurt and he finally believes me and goes off to sleep.
