Guest guest
--- , I was put on bcp after going off Depo, to get my system working the way it should and it did eventually work. Thing is with oral contraceptives, if you are taking them, not only for hormone regulation, but to prevent conception... they are not reliable to a malabsorptive system. Ortho tri cyclen / ortho cyclen are great in my book, but were not effective in preventing birth. If you are at a weight where the Ortho Evra patch would be effective, I would mention the possibility of using it instead of the pill. Guest guest
Toi, Thanks, I actually used the patch for two weeks before I realized I was over the weight limit and that is why and when I went on depo. Its funny, because the whole two weeks, I constantly stared and touched and checked the patch, to make sure it was there and that it was secure and that no water had gotten under it, pg was a nasty, scary word at that time. I want to get pg now, as soon as my body is ready from the depo, so from that angle, if I get pg, I guess my body was ready, pills or not?? I dont want to take them because we want to get pregnant as soon as we can. I dont know, this all so hard and confusing and I am so scared of making the wrong choices!! angela
